- What does the EU Commission mean by showing a pathway towards impact?
- What is different from H2020 to HEurope in describing the impact
- How do you link the project’s objectives with expected outcomes and expected impacts
- What are the main errors describing the pathway towards impact (from last evaluation round and from your experience in proposal checks)
- Why is scale and significance so important and what do they even mean (give an example in social sciences)
- What is meant by potential barriers, what is the difference to project’s risk and can you give examples (PESTEL.)
- How can one influence (maximise) the impact with dissemination/communication/exploitation (thinking about target groups)
- Thinking about societal, economic, and scientific impact, it seems hard to integrate an economic impact to projects in social sciences, and the other way round it is hard to think about societal impact for a highly technical proposal. Which advise would you give our researchers on how to address all three types of impact appropriately?
- Can impact be influenced by consortium composition? Integrate stakeholders (associate partners)?
- What would be the best way to show the impact section within a proposal? Tabular or narrative?
- Considering impacts beyond the expected ones, which are mentioned in the destination. E.g. SDGs, cross-sectoral impact (gender balance, open science, ethics, science education) how can one address those in the proposal.
- Last but not least– practical quick tips on how to prepare the impact section for their proposal, no matter what research discipline.
